Dr. Jeffrey Harris is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Harris received his Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. He completed medical school at the University of Saint Eustatius School of Medicine in 2004. He attended and completed residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and became Chief Resident of the Family Medicine Department in 2007.

During his residency, he served as the Louisiana resident representative for the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians. Upon completion of his residency, he served as Instructor of Family Mediciune on the medical staff. Dr. Harris lives in Greer with his wife and daughter. He played Division I Baseball at Louisiana State University and was part of two National Championship Teams. He also enjoys swimming, running, biking, golf and fishing.

Jennifer Simko is originally from Gainesville, Georgia and completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Georgia. She then went on to complete her Physician Assistant degree, graduating with honors from The Medical College of Georgia in 2006.

She has previously practiced in the fields of cardiology and gastroenterology but has been a part of Achieve MD since 2017. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, reading, and attending UGA football games.

Hanna Coats, originally from outside of Baltimore, Maryland, has lived in the Upstate for over 10 years Hanna entered the healthcare field when she graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2016. As a registered nurse, Hanna worked at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for several years, gaining experience as a medical/surgical nurse and a labor & delivery nurse. Following her passion for mental health, she then worked at The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, where she mostly worked in the ECT department, detox unit, and adult unit.

A true Clemson Tiger fan, Hanna returned to Clemson University again for graduate school, where she earned her Master of Science in nursing. As part of her graduate studies, Hanna participated in the Advanced Nursing Education Workforce, where she was trained on how to address the healthcare needs of diverse, rural, and underserved individuals in the Upstate. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Hanna is educated on how to treat patients safely and effectively across the lifespan. Hanna believes in the importance of treating patients based on their individual needs. As an avid swimmer, biker, runner, and hiker, Hanna also believes an active lifestyle is an essential aspect to both physical and mental health. On her days off, Hanna enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and two cats.

Theresa M. Sexton is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in caring for children with special health care needs including behavioral differences, growth and developmental delays, neurodiverse learners as well as general pediatrics. She received her education and training from the University of Florida and relocated to the Upstate several years ago.

She is passionate about providing care to children and adolescents with behavioral health issues and uses a collaborative approach to meet the needs of children and families. She remains an avid Gator fan. When not working she enjoys golf, biking and hiking. She is very proudto be a part of the Achieve MD team!
